Historically, our society has dedicated itself to the fight against various addictions. The DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program enjoyed a long-standing relationship with schools across the country to help inform and educate students about the harms of drug abuse and addiction. Those lobbying against the tobacco industry have been successful in requiring labels stating the detriments and addictive nature of tobacco products on the product itself. In fact, early in the twentieth century, alcohol production and consumption was banned in the United States. While such addictions still remain, a new addiction has reared its ugly head and has left almost no one unscathed. This addiction, pornography, is not the traditional addiction that people have fought. Yet, through modern technological advancements, it has found a way in almost every home in the West and across the world. Now, one of the most common complaints coming from Muslim homes -- youth and adult, beginning and practicing, layman and otherwise -- is that they have been caught in the grasp of pornography Speaker: Shaykh Sa'ad Qadri, Imam, Masjid Al-Huda in Milwaukee, WI Presented by Rayyan Institute MCA has arranged the live broadcast of the webinar on the above topic.
